2022 Recap: Our Wedding And Events Highlights So Far

We seem to be hurtling through 2022 at colossal speed. And so, before we blink and find ourselves in December, we wanted to recap some of the fabulous corporate parties, wedding and events that we’ve had the pleasure of working on so far this year!

With full-blown celebrations and gatherings officially back on (hurrah!), our feet have barely touched the ground! The team has travelled near and far to deliver our professional event planning and styling services to a host of incredible occasions with guest lists of up to 300 people+.

We’ve visited familiar venues that we love working at regularly in Chester, Manchester, the Lake District and Yorkshire; plus, it’s been great to discover and style some fabulous new venues in London, The Cotswolds and Leicester.

Somehow we’ve also managed to fit in numerous wedding shows and open days, plus attending Britain’s Asian Wedding Awards, where we were crowned ‘Wedding Planner of the Year’ – a 2022 highlight for sure!

The best part of our job, hands down, though, has to be taking the ideas and visions of our wedding couples and clients and transforming them into extraordinary events that create happiness, joy and memories.

And just before we delve into some of those wow-worthy celebrations, we’re reminding you that now’s the time to book if you’d like us to bring our styling magic to your Christmas party or festive installations. As we’ve said, the year is already whipping by, so it’s better to secure our event styling and planning services sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.

In the meantime, prepare for swooning, inspiration and decor ideas galore as we take a look at some of our very favourite wedding and events that we’ve helped plan and style in the first half of 2022.

Qube Events’ Corporate Party, Wedding And Events Highlights

Lucy & Jack’s Bartle Hall Wedding

We went all-out ethereal elegance for Lucy and Jack’s stunning Bartle Hall wedding, dressing both the ceremony and reception space at this stunning Lancashire venue.

Centred around a luxe colour scheme, we created the couple’s desired look using an abundance of trailing white blooms, gold foliage and magical wisteria trees accompanied by romantic candlelight and metallic flourishes.

A spellbinding circular moongate, complete with cascading silk flowers and cool neon sign, was used for both the ceremony and meal, initially placed at the top of the aisle, then moved to sit behind the top table.

Colour scheme: Ivory and gold.

What we love most: We adore a neon, and so it’s got to be that fabulous ‘Happily Ever After’ sign, which made the moongate all the more striking!

Gemma & James’ Rivington Hall Barn Wedding

Botanical beauty was key to the enchanting look we created for Gemma and James’ showstopping wedding at Rivington Hall Barn in Lancashire.

To make an impressive first impression for the ceremony, the barn beams were dressed in thick foliage and suspended tealights to provide a dreamy canopy overhead. Clusters of candles also lined the aisle to add to the romantic ambience.

For the reception, circular guest tables were styled with coordinating candle and foliage centrepieces, while the top table had a full-length, trailing foliage runner interspersed with clear cylinder vases and candles.

Colour scheme: Green and white.

What we love most: Without a doubt, that magical overhead foliage canopy! Total #ceremonygoals

Naomi & Mark’s Middleton Lodge Wedding

Combining both classic and contemporary elements, we styled two areas of Middleton Lodge in North Yorkshire for Naomi and Mark’s big day; the Fig House for the ceremony and the garden marquee for the reception.

The decor centred around a timeless white and ivory palette with metallic touches in gold and silver, adding a modern twist to the styling.

A statement floral arch of silk orchids and fresh gyp took centre stage at the ceremony, with a candle-lined aisle adding to the elegance. Striking floral displays in coordinating blooms were used to dress the reception space, along with candles aplenty!

Colour scheme: Ivory and white with metallic pops.

What we love most: We loved creating their seating plan display, complete with modern acrylic signage and a lavish balloon garland!

Pritesh & Vinnie’s Sefton Park Palm House Wedding

Emitting luxe-tropical feels, the wedding of Vinnie and Pritesh, held at Liverpool’s incredible Sefton Park Palm House, was nothing short of wow-worthy.

We dressed the spectacular setting with a fitting floral-focused theme, which popped beautifully against the botanical backdrop of the venue.

A wooden mandap took centre stage, decorated with tropical palms and blousy silk blooms in opulent shades of pink and red. The same decor was echoed in modern centrepieces for the reception to effortlessly bring the whole look together.

Colour scheme: Pinks, reds, green, white and gold.

What we love most: It doesn’t get much more swoon-worthy than that Mandap! The colours of the florals are just incredible.

Pinnacle Corporate Event

Styling corporate events is a speciality of ours, with each carefully designed to be a perfect reflection of the client’s company or brand whilst working in line with their desired theme.

A fabulous example of this was a company dinner we styled back in April for Pinnacle to mark the launch of its new branding. Creating a high-energy and fun setting for the celebrations, we mirrored the company’s new colour scheme in the decor and added gold touches to further elevate the event.

The Qube Events team took care of every element, from the stage, dancefloor and lighting installation to table decor and furniture supply.

Colour scheme: Orange and navy with gold touches.

What we love most: The gold glitter ball centrepieces, which really add to the high-end, celebratory feel of the event.

Alexia & Andrew’s Titanic Hotel Liverpool Wedding

If you’re searching for opulent wedding inspo, look no further than Alexia and Andrew’s luxe Greek wedding held at Titanic Hotel Liverpool.

It was all hands on deck to achieve the dreamy styling for their reception within the venue’s Rum Warehouse, with almost 300 guests attending. Lavish floral and foliage displays were central to the look, including a bespoke top table backdrop of green foliage and silk ivory florals finished with cool Edison bulbs.

Reception tables were dressed with ficus trees, elevated arrangements and copious amounts of candles while a giant foliage installation with central crystal chandelier hung overhead.

Colour scheme: Green, gold and white.

What we love most: The lighting! We swagged 510 metres of fairy lights between the ceiling’s beams, giving the impression of a romantic starlit sky!

Fazia & Hassan’s Thornton Manor Wedding

Fairytale elegance was the order of the day for Fazia and Hassan’s stunning wedding held within the Lakeside Marquee at Thornton Manor in Cheshire.

To bring the couple’s vision to life, we created an enchanting bespoke backdrop of soft draping, pretty blooms and sparkling chandeliers. We then styled the rest of the space with ornate furniture, luscious ficus trees, floral table runners and an abundance of candles.

Not forgetting the main spectacle…a silver mirrored walkway providing the absolute aisle of dreams!

Colour scheme: Blush pink, white, green and silver.

What we love most: Did we mention the mirrored walkway?!

Dahlia’s Batmitzvah

The first half of 2022 included an extra special event for our CEO Debbie, as her eldest daughter Dahlia celebrated her batmitzvah.

Pulling out all the stops to create a ‘Dahlia Fest’ tropical disco theme, we made sure the event was dressed to impress with perfectly coordinated decor – from the grand entrance to the main function suite – as well as fabulous personalised lighting.

The celebrations were complete with delicious catering and spectacular entertainment, including live bands, themed dancers and dazzling stilt walkers.

Colour scheme: A mix of vibrant tropical hues and pretty pastels in pink, orange, blue, green and yellow with metallic elements.

What we love most: The white gloss dancefloor with personalised ‘Dahlia’ vinyl design combined with the 6ft light-up letters. Talk about a fantastic party focal point!
