4 Tips to Prepare for a Summer Wedding

Be Decisive

You have probably spent what feels like a lifetime browsing Pinterest and Instagram at your favourite trends and wedding styles – but are you leaning more towards Boho or do you just love a classic wedding? Now is the time to be making those decisions. Take into consideration your venue, colour scheme and Bridal Style. What flowers do you love? What colours complement your venue? Using your wedding stylist to help answer all these questions is the best way to be decisive, we have extensive knowledge and experience of what works and what doesn’t which can really help when making those crucial decisions

Take Advantage of your surroundings

When it comes to deciding wedding decor think about your surroundings and what you can use or highlight with decor. It might already have a lot of existing charm or decorative features, such as built-in accent walls, landscaped gardens, fountains, stained glass windows, lighting fixtures, or ceiling beams. Consider how you can design your wedding decor to highlight those details, and how you can benefit from using them. What do the surroundings say or offer that you haven’t noticed before? Chat to the venue to see examples of how the room has been styled before and more importantly chat to your venue stylist for advice on how to get the most out of your venue.

Stay on top of your emails

This probably seems like a no brainer but you can end up with so many different emails from venues to makeup artists to dress boutiques it can get overwhelming. We always suggest creating a new email address strictly for wedding emails only and then from there creating folders for each vendor so that you can easily access emails and your inbox doesn’t get too crowded!

Don’t be afraid to ask for help!

Delegate tasks to your wedding party especially your bridal party & let them help you take away some of the stress. It’s also important to use the professionals around you! All the vendors you are already working with are experts within the wedding industry and will have endless amounts of advice or contacts for you!
