Holmes Mill

Holmes Mill originates from 1823 and is full of industrial charm and character, perfect for a contemporary, rustic wedding. The Mill, located in the heart of the Ribble Valley in Clitheroe, was the home to 16000 mule spindles and 707 looms, powered by industrial loom engines. Over the working years, the Mill was expanded and is now home to a complex of beautiful buildings, each with it’s own unique character and details which make the perfect backdrop for wedding photographs and receptions. The venue was lovingly restored and many of the original features remain, adding to the historical feel.
