It’s that time of year again where the days become longer and the flowers flourish with a rainbow of pretty colours. If you’re thinking of having a spring wedding, there are a number of ways to incorporate the delights of spring into your styling. Qube Events & Productions have put this guide together to assist you in styling your very own spring wedding, bringing the outside in or even enhancing an outdoor ceremony.
Customise your wedding décor
The first thing we all think of is flowers and it wouldn’t be a wedding without beautiful, in-season blooms. Flowers are a huge part of any wedding, from decoration to table centres and bouquets, they feature in almost every part of a wedding ceremony. Qube Events & Productions have come up with an alternative idea to a traditional table centre to incorporate fresh flowers into a spring wedding.
Our team have designed a suspended table centrepiece that would allow the flowers to cascade and flow to create a beautiful frame above the top table and other guest tables.
You could decorate the outside of your wedding venue with flowers, hay bales and milk urns to give it a spring feel and create some truly unique props that will wow your guests. Use boxes of blooms for your table plan instead of a frame or mirror. Soft pastels are an alternative colour scheme for a spring wedding and matching florals will brighten up any space.
Signage
If you’re having an outdoor or marquee wedding, the perfect way to direct your guests to your celebrations is with our bespoke, hand written signage. Tailored to fit your theme, we can create a range of signs including welcome signs and table plans with custom fonts and wording. Adding a touch of handmade creates a more personal feel to your wedding and gives you and your partner more décor that you can customise.
Wisteria Tree Table Centres
Qube Events have a range of tree table centres which can be dressed in various high-end silk flowers, including wisteria branches for a whimsical effect. The base of the tree can be dressed with fresh moss and pine cones to create a lovely aroma along with fresh flowers for added colour. The wisteria tree is a great table centre that can fit into a botanical theme for a spring wedding style without overdoing it on the flowers.
Tree Range
Trees are an elegant way to bring the outdoors indoors for your wedding. Our range of floor standing trees are available in a range of different sizes which are great for framing entrances to churches and as table plans for wedding breakfasts. They can also stand on tables to make beautiful table centres. They can be customised with a range of different colours and flowers, fresh or silk to add a subtle touch of colour to the corners of your venues.
We also have a new range of White trees and Green trees which were recently displayed at the beginning of March at The National Wedding Show. They are now available to order, get in touch for more information.
Colour
Make sure you play with colour, don’t be afraid of it. Everywhere you look in spring there are bright and bold colours that work well grouped together. Tulips are a great way to incorporate colour as they are available in so many different colours and are small enough to be subtle. Pastels are also a delicate colour scheme for spring and can be mixed with herbs and succulents for a lightly coloured spring wedding.
