It’s almost a crime to be talking about it at this time of year, but its worth starting to have a think about your festive celebrations as all the best venues and entertainment quickly get booked up.
Pick the perfect theme for your Christmas event

1. Bavarian
German Christmas Markets have soared in popularity over the years and have made their way into the event Industry as a great festive theme. Gluwein and Bratwursts galore, it’s not hard to see why. Go for long banqueting tables and rustic food stands instead of a sit down dinner to create a more relaxed, joyous atmosphere for your guests.
Use copper and brass details in your décor choices to bring some bling to the event. This theme is as much about atmosphere as it is about the look, so incorporate some fun activities for guests like a rodeo bull or Bavarian brass band to really get your guests into the swing of things!
2. Dickensian Christmas
Take a step back in time to a Victorian era Christmas reminiscent of a Charles Dickens novel. Victorian street lamps and lanterns dressed with wreaths of holly and pine. Stick to traditonal colours of bright red, forest green and gold for this theme. But no need to be a Scrooge, why not add in a Victorian sleigh and even some real reindeer for guests to take photos with. Carol singers in traditional dress will really set the mood for a wonderful evening of classic Christmas.
3. New York, New York!
Nowhere feels as magical at Christmas time as New York. Whether it’s the Rockefeller Centre lit up by a giant Christmas tree with thousands of twinkling lights or a frosty walk through the winter wonderland that is Central Park in December, the city is full of festive cheer. So why not bring a little of that magic to your event?
Make gold your main colour scheme and add touches of bright green and red with some festive apples. Or frame vintage pictures of New York and incorporate them into your décor to build on the theme. New York is very glitzy and glamourous at Christmas and it’s the perfect theme for any corporate Christmas party.
4. Winter Wonderland
You can’t go wrong with a festive wonderland. There’s a huge range of décor options for this so you can put your own twist on it. Feathers, candelabras and even chandeliers can be incorporated into this theme. Go for a white LED dancefloor and white draping to really transform the venue. Hang frosted décor from the ceiling and throw in some polar bears and you’ve got a real Christmas Winter Wonderland!
